🏋️‍♂️ Big News for Baytown: EōS Fitness Is Coming

Yes — it’s official. EōS Fitness is coming to Baytown. The popular national gym brand plans to open a 40,000-square-foot fitness center at the redeveloped San Jacinto Marketplace near Garth Road and I-10, giving Baytown residents a major new option for affordable, full-service fitness.

The gym itself is expected to open in 2027, aligning with the overall completion of the San Jacinto Marketplace redevelopment in late 2026 or early 2027. In the meantime, EōS plans to open an enrollment center soon at 6921 Garth Rd, Suite 300, where residents can get updates, learn about membership options, and potentially lock in low pre-opening rates before the official grand opening is announced.

Once open, the new location is expected to offer EōS’s signature amenities, including a large workout floor, group fitness classes, recovery and performance zones, and a modern, high-energy gym environment — all designed to bring a big-city fitness experience right here to Baytown.

Bottom line: If you’ve been wishing for a bigger, newer gym option in town — it’s coming, and now you know where and when to watch for it.

This week’s Baytown Eats spotlight goes to Cuban Cafe on Decker, one of my personal local favorites and a must-visit if you love bold, authentic flavors. They serve up classic Cuban dishes like perfectly pressed Cuban sandwiches, savory pork, and flavorful rice and beans — all made fresh and packed with flavor. They’re also a fantastic breakfast spot, with hearty morning plates and some of the best Cuban coffee in town — rich, strong, and just the right amount of sweet. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast, meeting a friend for lunch, or just stopping in for a cafecito, Cuban Cafe is one of those places you’ll find yourself coming back to again and again.
