🚨 BAYTOWN POSTAL SUPERVISOR ARRESTED AFTER ALLEGEDLY STEALING $3,600 SPORTS CARD FROM THE MAIL
A Baytown postal supervisor is facing felony charges after investigators say a rare sports collectible vanished from a customer’s package — and later appeared for sale online. (KPRC)
According to investigators, the customer purchased an autographed Cooper Flagg rookie basketball card on eBay for $3,617. After the package arrived at the Baytown Post Office, the customer was unable to sign for the delivery and later had someone pick it up. When the package was opened, the valuable card was missing. (KPRC)
The buyer later discovered what appeared to be the same card listed back on eBay. Investigators say that discovery eventually led them to a Baytown USPS supervisor, who is accused of taking the card and attempting to resell it online. (KPRC)
The postal supervisor was arrested and is now facing charges related to the alleged theft. The investigation remains ongoing. (KPRC)
📦 Baytown Buzz Reminder: When shipping or receiving valuable items, always keep tracking information, photos, receipts, and documentation until delivery is complete.

🕊️ BAYTOWN MOURNS THE LOSS OF COMMUNITY LEADER EDDIE V. GRAY
The Baytown community is mourning the loss of Eddie V. Gray, a longtime leader, supporter, and visionary whose impact will continue to be felt for generations.
Gray dedicated decades of his life to serving Baytown and investing in projects that strengthened the community. One of his most recognized contributions was his role in the creation and continued support of the Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Center — a place where students, families, and visitors can learn, explore, and appreciate the natural beauty of our area.
City leaders described Gray as someone who believed deeply in Baytown’s future and worked to create opportunities and resources that would benefit residents for years to come.
While many know the Gray name because of the Wetlands Center, his legacy extends far beyond one building. His generosity, leadership, and commitment helped shape the Baytown we know today.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Gray family, his friends, and everyone who knew and loved him.
Thank you, Eddie V. Gray, for your lasting impact on our community. ❤️
