Baytown and its surrounding communities were buzzing with activity this weekend as volunteers stepped up in a big way for an incredible Serve Saturday hosted by Faith Family Church across Baytown, Crosby, and La Porte.

Dozens of community members came out ready to roll up their sleeves and make a difference. From neighborhood park cleanups to local food drives and hands-on service projects, volunteers tackled both big and small needs throughout the area.

Faith Family Church’s Serve Team worked across multiple locations, focusing on practical ways to support local families, beautify public spaces, and lend a helping hand where it was needed most. Their efforts reflected a shared commitment to serving others and strengthening the community.

Organizers expressed gratitude for everyone who participated, noting that events like Serve Saturday showcase the heart of our local communities — people coming together to care for their neighbors and demonstrate God’s love through action.

Families in the Baytown area are invited to discover what makes Baytown Christian Academy (BCA) a unique and faith-centered educational community during its upcoming Open House event.

The school will host the Open House on February 17 at 6:00 PM at its campus located at 5555 N. Main Street in Baytown.

Prospective students and their families will have the opportunity to tour the campus, meet faculty and staff, explore student programs and extracurricular opportunities, and learn more about how Baytown Christian Academy partners with families to help students grow both academically and spiritually.

BCA is known for its commitment to Christ-centered education, strong community atmosphere, and focus on developing students’ character alongside their academic success.

School leaders say they are looking forward to welcoming new families and sharing more about the mission and vision of the academy.

All prospective students and families are warmly invited to attend.
