🎉 Baytown Christian Academy Approved for New State Tuition Program
Baytown Christian Academy is celebrating exciting news after being officially approved for the 2026–2027 Texas Education Freedom Act (TEFA) Program, which means eligible families may be able to use state-funded Education Savings Accounts (ESAs) toward BCA tuition and approved education expenses — all while the school’s Christ-centered mission, values, and curriculum remain unchanged. With applications expected to open in February 2026, this could open new doors for families exploring faith-based education in our community, and BCA encourages parents who are curious about enrollment, eligibility, or how the program works to reach out directly to the school for more information. 🚒 Baytown Firefighters Rescue Trucker — and His Dog — After 18-Wheeler Rollover
Baytown Fire Department crews sprang into action on January 9 when they responded to a mutual-aid call in Chambers County for a serious 18-wheeler rollover crash, rescuing the trapped driver with heavy rescue equipment and getting him flown to the hospital, then discovering and safely pulling a dog from a void space in the wrecked cab; the dog appeared unharmed and was turned over to Chambers County Animal Control for safekeeping, underscoring the dedication and quick response of local firefighters in emergencies.
