Hyatt Regency Baytown Hits Major Financial Milestone
The Hyatt Regency Baytown–Houston Hotel and Convention Center just recorded its first $1 million revenue month, marking a major milestone for the city’s waterfront development.
City officials say the strong performance reflects increasing bookings, repeat business, and more conferences and events coming to Baytown. Even better, revenue per available room came in 8% above budget, while operating expenses are running 11% below projections.
When the project first launched, leaders expected it would take several years for the hotel to ramp up financially. Instead, the property is outperforming early expectations and helping drive more tourism and economic activity along Baytown’s waterfront.
